I finally took time and read the second title of the sequel started from The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo while I was in vacation in Hawaii last week.
Simply put, it was an awesome read. I was right into the story from the first page and couldn't stop reading under the strong hawaiian sunshine, which burnt my skin so hard that I had to put on wet towels all over my body for the next few days.
Lisbeth Salandar, the main character and I must say she is one of the characters in a decade, couldn't find peace in her life after she settled the incident to which the first title was devoted even though she did make enough fortune to buy a huge apartment. Then she found herself involved in a serious trouble again.
I was so fascinated by the story I even hoped it didn't finish. I finished the last page when I was waiting for the flight back home. I immediately ordered the third and unfortunately the last story of the sequel when I landed. It must conclude the story as Larsson is not able to write any more.

I was reading the book during my vacation in Okinawa in January. Although it started quite slowly, the story went great towards the end; adventure, villains, tactics and bittersweet ending. I almost forgot how the story started but it all made sense at the end.
Lisbeth Salandar, the girl, was quite a character I wasn't able to imagine who could play the role in movie. It turned out the movie was already there and it was on the screens in Japan. Hmm, I can smell Hollywood version of it.
The story continues in two following books to form a sequel. I clicked both on Amazon today to read during the next vacation in this Summer.
So, Henry time-travels without his intention. He goes past to see his wife at her six years old. He meets her wife at her 18. She magically falls in love with this weird 40+ years old man who is naked every time she meets him, when she is a teenager. It is simply amazing.
Amazon remembered that it was September 27th 2009 when I purchased this book. It was when I found the ad of the movie in a train. I was kind of depressed at that time, looking for something I could be into, something that made me think about life.
Since then I had been trying to finish it. It was just before the end of the year I was finally able to finish the last day of Henry and Clare. I would love to meet and chat with someone like Clare but that was about all I thought. It took too long for me, and for them to finish their stories. I could hardly feel my heart warm after reading it. Sorry, it was not for me.
